Yesterday was a testament to the incredible journey I’ve been privileged to be a part of in the world of competitive bodybuilding. I spent the day coaching two remarkable athletes: a dedicated newcomer in my program in stepping into her first bikini competition with me as her coach and a seasoned wellness competitor, prepping for her third show with me. This day, like many others, was a reminder of the diverse and dynamic world of female bodybuilding, and the unique journeys each athlete undertakes. But the work ethic and drive in the gym is the same throughout each division.

A Shift in Focus: From New Competitors to Lifestyle Fitness

Over my four-decade tenure in fitness, I’ve seen and contributed to the evolution of bodybuilding. While my earlier years were marked by welcoming and training new competitors, my focus has gradually shifted. Today, my primary goal is to nurture a lifestyle of year-round optimized health, conditioning, and a healthy mindset. This evolution in focus doesn’t diminish the intensity or dedication I bring to the gym – it simply marks a new chapter in how I choose to impart my knowledge and experience. Also my delivery is mostly online and not one on one in the gym 16hrs per day.
